We are happy- honestly, I’m pretty thrilled- to announce we are now offering Medium Taper Textured Cartridge Mags and Hollows for blasting color tats. When I first developed our carts, I felt the long taper mags, since they are also textured, were aggressive enough for color packing given the machines used for carts are almost all direct drive and therefore quite aggressive on the skin. I was worried if I introduced medium taper textured mags right off the bat with carts, people would too easily overwork the skin and have bad heals. But after working on some prototypes with different tapered and textured pins, I and a few of my peers agree these are what we needed to color at the speed and efficiency we were used to with coils and our medium taper mags. Even so, these are an aggressive pin, and I personally only use and recommend them for color- not that some don’t also use them for black and grey and achieve great results.
