congratulations go to my friend and brother Julius Rodriguez on the release of his debut record on Verve Records. I can remember when I just finished high school, my big brother @thejefferymiller would call me to do a couple gigs in nyc; it was helping me become immersed within the city before moving. During one of these stints , Julius saw I was coming up and reached out about a gig he had and asked if I can make. Since that day we’ve been playing together ... a big part of my immersion within some of nyc music community is due to him and I’m very grateful to him for that. For me, not only is this my first time being a part of record on a major label but growing up in New Orleans , we watched @nicholaspayton , @adonisrosedrums, @jazzy_gentleman and many others change the landscape of acoustic records on this label.
