Abandoned properties often become hotspots for trespassing and illegal dumping. When I took office, I wanted to make the communities of Council District 7 safer and healthier for everyone. As a result, when my office was contacted about the abandoned property at 9777 Telfair Ave. in Pacoima, we took immediate action. Working with the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety as well as the Office of the Los Angeles City Attorney, we successfully secured orders to remove the trash and abandoned vehicles from the property.
