St. Lucia was soul nourishing! 🗣 PSA to my POC followers, liiissseeennn, Jamaica is AMAZING. I get it. I been there too. But there are OTHER Caribbean islands to visit. I saw A WHOLE LOTTA other folks taking full advantage of the beauty we often neglect (I was one of 5 Black people on the plane— HOW SWAY?!). Book your trip, split a villa, enjoy yourself. YOU WORK HARD. YOU DESERVE TO PLAY HARDER! Resort: @sugarbeachviceroy was fire! Ask for Leah at the spa for the best massage and Mosiah provided amazing butler service. The food at the resort was A1, no cap. There’s also Ladera, hotel Chocolat, jade mountain, among others. Much like in Africa, traveling within the Caribbean islands can be difficult (sometimes you literally have to go back to the States to get to another island 😡), but there are a few you can get to by boat and there’s a BA flight from St. Lucia to Grenada that takes only 30min.
