For the 5th year in a row, Finland (Suomi) has been named the happiest country in the world. It’s a nook of the world that I love so dearly and am forever grateful it is a part of my DNA. From saunas to sea, it’s all a part of me. Just want to note that the prime minister of Finland is 36-year old Sanna Marin. She heads a governing coalition of 5 political parties which are all led by women. Finland ranks 2nd in the Gender Gap report behind Iceland. Parental leave entitles 164 days per parent which can be transferred between parents. They also have universal healthcare. I could go on but anyone taking notes on how to achieve happiness?
