In a world full of beautifully staged photos, these images of my friends and family are the ones I’ll treasure. So grateful we were finally able to come together to paddle out in celebration of Uncle Archie’s life. We shed some tears, but we laughed even harder and I know that’s how he would’ve liked it. When he was still with us, one minute we’d be having a heart-to-heart conversation and the next minute he’d be trying to prank me by lowering his voice (with exaggerated hand gestures), trying to convince me I was losing my hearing. It always hits extra hard when you lose one of the great ones. But it’s not goodbye, only a hui hou until I get to see you again in the next life 💙 #missyouUncle
