Meet Muhindoy Sedoyeka, a proud member of the Datooga tribe, born and raised in Lake Eyasi in the Ngorongoro Crater Highlands. He serves as our Director of Conservation.
His deep connection with the land and its inhabitants stems from his childhood in the Serengeti tending to his family’s livestock. This experience instilled a deep respect for the land, its inhabitants, and the planet. Today he is committed to bridging tradition with progress through higher education.
Muhindoy also volunteers with Carbon Tanzania, advocating for environmental conservation and sustainable living practices. He is working to empower local communities and governments in East Africa.
We are honored to have him as a volunteer and friend & grateful for the perspective he brings to our board and the world!
