Have to share this one. Concept vs. Reality. In the script for The Black Phone, the original description of the "ghost kids" was essentially "shadows". The initial plan was for them to be created via visual FX. Thankfully director, @scottderrickson had the idea to go the practical route. So we set out to figure out what these ghosts were gonna look like. Being that The Grabber's weapon of choice is a knife, we wanted to make sure each of victims had a distinct set of stabs and slashes.
