As some of you know, heaven gained another angel last night. To some he was Bobby, to others he was coach, and to those who knew him the longest he was “Hawk” which was coined by Bear Bryant himself. To me though, he was more than any of those things. He was my role model as long as I can remember, the person I always looked up to and strived to be like. Without his influence and guidance I would not be where I am today. I look back on all the great memories we shared and will cherish them forever. I know now he is at peace and will always be watching over me and my family. I’m so proud to have been his grandson and I loved him more than he could ever know.
