President Joe Biden hosted President Emmanuel Macron at a lavish state banquet at the White House on Thursday night, the first of his presidency.⁠ ⁠ Macron also found time to visit New Orleans where he toured the city’s historic French Quarter and met Elon Musk, holding a “clear and honest discussion” with the billionaire owner of Twitter about his chaotic takeover at the social media platform.
