This one is for my gamer gorls <3 Fck all the harassment and gatekeeping, keep playing and never let those losers bring you down!! @agentprovocateur’s Fearless Femininity campaign was perfect to reflect on my feminine journey, to be brought in to shoot lingerie while wearing a headset hahaha that sounds like meee - kind of a matrix moment too. I remember when I was younger; I was grossly mislead into believing that “I wasn’t like other girls” just because I had an interest in gaming and general nerd culture. I would internalise my hatred for “other girls” just because they were more feminine than I was...ew But I grew up and changed, I couldn’t stay holding myself back from feminine expression just because the community surrounding gaming told me so. I logged out for a moment and I got more into makeup, fashion, music, partying... I discovered more about myself than I ever did before. I know that gaming culture can be extremely toxic and other girls feel like they can’t express themselves naturally without getting harassed - but please I encourage you to find safe spaces online and make friends who respect you. My advice is that you shouldn’t ever listen to what losers on the internet are saying!!! Please please please never stop playing!!! 🎮🎮🎮 Thank you to everyone at @agentprovocateur for having me!!
