Back in the Ginny pig hut 🐽 Keep coming back to this cover I did this summer of “Heaven Have Mercy” by Edith Piaf - it’s a song about grief and war - quite heavy but I have always been drawn to and fascinated by this song, it’s a grief song with only glimpses of happiness and at the core is despair & loss. The fact that it’s so brutal helps. I am so grateful for the life I am living but I still mourn heavily for those we have lost. As humans especially people we tend to be so reserved with our emotions, but we need to share and let it out baby! Let in the light, shine & shout! And from darkness comes light 💡 💛
