In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Peloton is voluntarily extending the availability of the full refund for your Tread+ treadmill through November 6, 2023. In cooperation with the CPSC, we are also developing a rear guard solution that would help protect users against the risk of accidental pull-under at the back of the treadmill. Before implementing such a solution, the CPSC must first approve the rear guard as part of Peloton’s voluntary recall. Currently, we do not have additional information about the timing for the availability of this possible rear guard solution for our Members. Peloton is committed to the treadmill category, and to providing our Members with amazing running, walking, and bootcamp experiences on world class equipment. At Peloton, product safety will always be a top priority. Please remember to follow all safety instructions and keep children, pets, and objects away from treadmills at all times during use. Never provide your Tread Lock passcode to children or other unauthorized users and, after use, always remove and store the safety key away from the unit and out of the reach of children.
