One of my favorite memories of my wedding weekend was making my bouquet with my friends the night before. As a wedding photographer who has dabbled in florals in the past, it was such a joy to put some of my creative energy into my bouquet. It felt sacred and grounding 🥹
I’ve gotten a few questions about what the floral recipe was for my bouquet and I’m happy to share! I picked up my florals a few days before we left for highlands from the kind folks at @davisbham.
Floral recipe:
1. Butterfly Ranunculus
(a nod to our butterfly details and my favorite bloom)
Ivory, blush, champagne, and soft butter tones.
Delicate, papery, airy. These make up most of the ruffled blooms.
2. Cosmos (Lavender / Light Purple)
Daisy-like, fluttery petals on long stems.
Adds movement and that whimsical hint of color.
3. Hellebores (Blush-Green to Mauve)
Slightly cupped blooms with soft pastel tones.
The flatter, wider flowers mixed throughout.
4. Sweet Peas (Ivory / Blush)
Super airy, ruffled petals.
Adds dimension and softness.
