This is 40. And honestly, it feels pretty darn great. Leading up to yesterday, I was worried I might be sad, being in Montreal working, away from my family and friends for such a milestone. But all day long, everyone showed up for me in such a major way, even from afar. It filled my heart so much to hear from everyone who reached out for my birthday (I signed on to a VFX zoom bawling from happiness at one point!). You guys went above and beyond, and it means the world. Thank you so much. I think life is about collecting people—finding gems and keeping them with you for the ride. If that’s true, I have hit the jackpot. Many of you have been with me for well over half my life now. Feeling so lucky and grateful to have you all. The first 40 have been awesome. I’m excited for all that’s to come.
