@akatuestudio Akatue studio are a sustainable fashion and homeware company, focused on combining Ghanaian weaving techniques with British craftsmanship through a contemporary lense. The seed for Akatue was sown in 2018 after founder Liberty Clayton returned to her hometown of Bolga. Inspired by the women in her family, Liberty wanted to use her experience as a Savile row trained tailor to create tangible, progressive careers for artisans across Africa. With a team lead by Sabastian in Ghana, Akatue focus on quality, creativity, and growth. Their products are inspired by travels across the continent and learning from the craftspeople they meet along the way.
