The amount of feel good volleyball moments over the last week are unmeasurable. Senior night shoutout first. When I started coaching at Inferno I had no idea the impact these young men would have on me, and vise versa. Being able to learn alongside them and see them from start to finish throughout their club journey has brought tremendous joy in my life. I’ve never had little brothers, but if I could choose, I’d choose to have little brothers from Inferno time and time again. These athletes, these coaches. We are family. The humans here have helped me become the mentor and coach I’ve always wanted to be. I can honestly say I can’t wait for more senior nights and all the happy tears that come with it. Guys, I’m so proud of the smart, kind and driven young men you’ve grown to be and I’ll always be in your corner rooting for you as your biggest fan. One of these guys told me that we had this thing called “the Inferno effect”.
