@iconic__house just opened their first property in the south of France, and if you’re the type to have several thousand dollars a night to drop on accommodations, this is the place for you. (And honestly we’re jealous, please invite us with?) Co-founded by Thibaud Elzière, a French tech entrepreneur, and his brother Robin Michel, the company aims to combine the best of the hotel and Airbnb experiences. This particular property, called L’Étoile des Baux, offers a dedicated concierge, swimming pool, open-air cinema, outdoor theater, a gym, a boules court, a playhouse, and the ability to hire a chef on-demand — all wrapped up in a home built into the limestone cliffs of Les Baux-de-Provence, with gorgeous interiors by the French designer @josephine.fossey.office. The house was inspired by the idea of the artist’s house — particularly Jean Cocteau’s Santo Sospir in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat — and as such is filled with the work of local artists, and punctuated with an entryway mural by @florencebamberger 😍(Also: another day, another brick red bathroom with an outcropping of rocks???!
