It’s almost time for... 🎆 🎇 With the help of sweet Myko we have a few tips to help soothe your dog during fireworks! Some dogs are totally cool with fireworks and that’s FANTASTIC, but for those who get a little spooked here are some things to help: 🎇 Make sure your pet has proper identification and their microchip information is up to date! 🎇 Create a safe space - dogs are den animals so they’re looking for a cozy cave to hide away in. You can use a closet, kennel, bathroom, basement, anywhere that is away from windows. 🎇 Play some white noise, brown noise - whatever kind of noise y’all enjoy! 🎇 Make sure to walk/exercise your dog well before the fireworks start - get them out for a big potty break early so you don’t have to venture out when the fireworks are booming. 🎇 Be there to comfort them - give lots of snuggles, cuddles and treats if that’s what they need. 🎇 Use a thunder shirt, tight t shirt, or even a DIY wrap!
