During COVID quarantine, @jenna_coleman_ filmed thriller Klokkenluider – Flemish for “whistleblower” – where she, first-time director Neil Maskell and castmates Amit Shah, Sura Dohnke, Roger Evans and Tom Burke locked down in a house in Sussex for three weeks to make the movie. “It’s quite absurd, a dark, dark comedy,” she says. The film revolves around a government whistleblower who, together with his Flemish wife, is sent to a country house in west Belgium alongside two close protection officers. Coleman plays a British journalist who is sent to investigate the situation. Klokkenluider will premiere at the @britishfilminstitute #LFF this October.
