On my day off from filming I visited Snuneymuxw First Nation. I’ve been so busy doing so many things so this visit was much needed! It felt so good to spend time with those from the area and those not from the area who came just for this event. Community events like this not only bring our people together but they uplift us, bring happiness and laughter into our lives. This is a tough time for our people because we are honouring our children who never made it home. Spending time with one another, sharing stories and helping each other rise is so vital. Thank you @kwumut_lelum for making my heart smile and welcoming me back with open arms. Thankful for this 🧡🪶
