WSF recently hosted an Athlete Ambassador Program event in Detroit with our National Partner @Delta. We engaged over 60 girls from WSF Sports 4 Life community partner @DetroitPAL for an inspiring day of physical activity and meaningful connection. Tommie Walker, a former professional baseball player, Norma Jean Evans, a 4X basketball Hall of Famer, and Tracy Coram, Director of In-Flight Service Field Operations for Delta Air Lines, participated in a motivating panel and engaged with the girls in softball clinic stations led by Henry Ford College and Finesse Fastpitch. With Delta Air Lines’ generous support, we are able to positively impact the lives of girls and women through sports by connecting champion athletes with communities across the country.
