Baja Sur Writing Retreat Todos Santos-Pescadero, México Feb 17-22, 2023 Just thinking of being in one of my places on Earth with such amazing writers and creatives from near and far has me so excited for this coming February I can’t even stand it!! As some of you know, I’ve spent quite a bit of time in Todos Santos over the last few years, and it’s a place where some of my most transformative life moments have passed. It’s a euphoric, wild, and free landscape, and one of the places in the world where I feel the most creative and deeply in flow. It’s hard not to feel utterly mesmerized by life when your morning coffee or tea is taken on a terrace as you watch the horizon of the Pacific Ocean for whales breaching in the distance. It’s truly a surreal, magical place! That’s why I chose Todos Santos as the location of our Writing Retreat this coming February. I’m officially counting down the minutes until we spend 6 transformative days together in a private retreat by the sea! I’ve been busy creating all the writing workshops we will do together. They’ll encompass many forms of expression, from journalism to creative writing, that have led me to write for The New York Times, Condé Nast Traveler, Vogue, and more—and to even write my forthcoming debut novel! I’ll also share my tried-and-true spiritual practices like embodied journaling and a tantra-based breathwork practice. It’s designed for you to plug into your deepest creativity. We will also have the incredibly talented editorial photographer, @nomadic_habit, documenting our journey, and @jessi.chappell will be there to lead us through a mystical tarot-inspired writing workshop. It really couldn’t get any more magical in my books!! And, because we can, we’re going to use wellbeing as a pathway to the pursuit of aliveness as we partake in experiences like a hike to a deserted beach where wild horses roam, as well as a private yoga class, sound healing ceremony, and more.
