GOD DID!!! I came to la Isla del encanto to unwind, decompress and give myself a change of scenery during my @berlinmarathon training, the @lolachallenge was the perfect way to do that. There is something unique and special about being in the water under the Caribbean sun that recharges your energy. I did a lot of reflecting while on my runs this weekend (I made sure to give myself adequate time to do so lol). When ever I do something hard like a weekend of waking up at 5,4,3am to run on a hot island I remind myself that 9 years ago I COULD NOT DO THIS but look at me now. “El Chico sin camisa”(dubbed by the race commentator) cross that finish line back to back to back. To keep a long story short thank you to @rephstar + @pattydukes for putting together another memorable trip.
