A month I will remember forever! Where do I even start? Peru has been such a transformative experience for me, teaching me so much and opening my eyes to new adventures. It’s tough to capture everything in words, but I’ll give it a go... 🤍 The Orphanage - We had the beautiful opportunity to visit the orphanage almost every day, showering the kids with love. We taught them English words and shared Bible stories, providing hope to those without a home. The goodbyes were heart-wrenching, but this chapter of our lives will be etched in our memories forever. Aldea Infantil, you will always hold a special place in my heart. 🤍 Church - The relationships and sense of community at this church mean the world to me. Experiencing a group of people worshiping the same God in a different language was incredibly uplifting. We got to witness what true community looks like, with everyone devoted to gathering and studying God’s Word together. 🤍 Fellowship - The bond within our group was immeasurable. Even though we had been in the same class all year, most of us hadn’t really talked until we arrived in Peru. From day one, we clicked! There was no drama; we felt like one big family. We laughed, cried, and embraced new experiences together. Hearing everyone’s stories was such a blessing, and I know I’ll always have friends in these amazing people, including the church members who visited us late at night. Even with the language barrier, we played games and created unforgettable memories. 🤍 Creation - My love for my Creator has deepened after witnessing the breathtaking beauty of His creation in Peru. The views were simply stunning! Everywhere we turned, there were incredible sights to behold. Visiting Machu Picchu was an unforgettable experience that will stay with me forever! I’ve come to the conclusion that if I was told I was going back to Peru with the same people I wouldn’t change a single thing on how this trip went. I would do everything exactly the same.
