got another very special dj mix for ya ❤️‍🔥 the joy in putting together dj mixes is being able to curate different vibes dependent on mood, environment and context. as i step further into this project and what it means to me, i’m craving a slow burn into something deeper - i want the listener to feel what it is i’m constantly searching for in music. i’ve been exploring this idea with my recent dj sets on the road, and i wanted this particular mix to reflect this new approach. as i work on writing new music, i’m using these mixes to help guide me to a place i’ve been headed toward since 2014. it’s hard to explain, but i think you’ll be able to hear it too. i think i’m falling into a new movement, and it feels truer to me than anything i was doing before. all in the process, i guess. you can tune into my “on the record” mix for @insomniacradio airing live today, july 8th at 1pm pst 📡 on www.insomniacradio.com swipe for tracklist :) easily one of my favorite mixes to date xx
