Fun fact: a popular language learning app @duolingo reports that it saw a 485% global increase in Ukrainian language 🇺🇦 learners since the war’s start on February 24. It sounds really nice - when you learn the language, next you want to visit the country of this language. And here is the problem - the country is torn by war! We desperately need help to stop it globally. Locally we need to feed people, bring medications to our hospitals and hygiene supplies to the young mothers who gave birth under Russian rockets. We are happy that the Ukrainian language is gaining popularity. We will be proud to invite you to Ukraine and show you around and of course feed you with the best borsch and potato dumplings. But at the moment all we ask is to help our people who live in desperate conditions; they can be killed each day. They deserve a decent life despite this ugly and unfair war.
