We are gearing up to announce NPHY’s 2022 Southern Nevada Youth Homelessness Summit! As we reflect on all the work that has been done, we would be reminded to not highlight all the work that young people have done to make the strives in #endyouthhomelessness in Southern Nevada. During the 2019 Summit, In a performance piece led by Southern Nevada Homelessness Continuum of Care’s Youth Action Board - Young Adults in Charge (YAC) and NPHY’s leadership development program - NPHY Ambassadors, youth with lived experiences of homelessness demonstrated how in an instance, the course of a youth’s life can change and they can be tossed into a situation of homelessness. At the will of the people who they trust the most and at no fault of their own, these youth’s lives will be thrown into dire, confusing, and unpredictable situations when they receive life-changing phone calls. This beautiful and impactful performance was entirely written and produced by and starring members of NPHY Ambassadors and Young Adults in Charge (YAC).
