((( META-ESCHATON ))) will be live on @superrare.co at 10am pst ! 🙏💥🍄 Inspired by the philosopher Terence McKenna’s discussions about the Eschaton and the end of history, I’ve been continuing to make works with these ideas as an informing lens through which to view the imagery, what also could simply be surreal, hopefully interesting, compositions. Through this lens, these forms are more than just trippy visuals to me, they represent a constellated hyper-ordered hyper-dimensional intelligence, informing, magnetic, and infinite. The Eschaton, as Terence McKenna described it, is a kind of transcendental object at the end of history that draws us towards it. History is not a random walk, but a kind of waveform, a reverberating echo of this immanent transcendental event. The Eschaton is a light that casts shadows backwards through time, and pulls us towards it as novelty accelerates.
