We are heartbroken over the loss of our Lily yesterday. Over the past month she suffered abbesses that developed due to her being over 80 years old in rabbit years. Our baby had endured 2 procedures and a surgery along with 3 rounds of antibiotics in a short amount of time. This was all shock to her delicately aging system and she rapidly deteriorated. Lily was our babygirl. We got her 9 months into our relationship when she was a 5 week old kit. Our growth as a family was filled with fantastic bonding and the sweetest memories. That tiny bun went everywhere and did everything with us over these 9 years. Her absence leaves such a massive sadness in our hearts.
