When I photographed Steven Spielberg in 2007, I only had 45 minutes to capture him across 3 sets - one of which included a live lion. On another set, we incorporated a 16mm projector. Not then knowing the story of the young Spielberg, which is now uncovered in his new movie “The Fabelmans,” I now realize how symbolic the projector was - and is.
