Helps to have big bushy tomato plants to stare at across the way. 🍅🍅🍅 All through announcing and promoting this book, I realise I haven’t talked much about the text itself - what happens inside the cover to our main characters, Papa and Little One. That’s mainly because there isn’t really a one-line synopsis that could do it justice. Dare I say, you just have to read it. 🤓 I suspect people might be quite surprised by the story - by what it says and perhaps by what it doesn’t say. When I wrote it, SJ was just turning 2. Everything that’s said and done by my characters is based on real moments between me and SJ - the real vibe of parenting and exploring ideas with someone who is *just* starting to comprehend their world. I can’t wait to hear what people make of it, who else they think should read it and what conversations it sparks between other parents and caregivers and their little ones.
