Lauren Breedlove (@girlwanderlist) is a self-taught photographer who took a leap at 30 and changed her career from teaching to being a full-time travel writer and photographer. Photography has been the thing that gets Lauren exploring and looking at things differently. “I thrive on having this creative outlet where the photos I take can potentially have the power to inspire, impact, and share the way I see the world. It's helped me push my limits, whether it's my fear of heights or the patience that wildlife photography requires.” She says, “The feeling of capturing those ""pinch-me"" moments that can transport you back in time to the exact feeling of a place, an interaction with a local who posed for a portrait or witnessing a stunner for a sunrise - these are just some of the ways that photography warms my heart.” Lauren’s tip for the #SonyAlphaFemale community is to slow down and embrace the journey you’re on. “Take a moment every time you shoot to put the camera down and soak it up for yourself instead of through your lens. It'll help you be more present; it's something that I'm always working on and reminding myself."
