1980s Portland, Oregon- Rebel Skates photo dump part 2——- 1. Brian Zipper North Vancouver park- this dude was the co owner of Rebel Skates and used to take us everywhere in an old station wagon. He brought us to Canada, Eugene, Salem, all over Portland on skate trips... he schooled us on all kinds of things - he and Bill Reese were classic skate shop owners- the physical shop was just the tip of the iceberg. 2. Tyrone boneless- Tbone could blast bigger than anyone at this time- super powerful and super cool. 3. Keary bank to wall- he was first dude I saw pop out of wallrides- 4. Adam Muzikant- this dude was the genius of skating- he played violin, got straight A’s in school and basically ripped at everything. 5. Me- I was lucky to be on the team because I wasn’t nearly as good as any of the other dudes 6. Silas blasting at a contest in the parking lot of the Pine Street Theater where we used to see punk shows. We were lucky growing up in Portland- lots of good skaters and a few great shops... Portland is still top 5 skate cities anywhere.
