NYC MARATHON ☑️ 8 5ks + 2k turned into 7 5ks + 2 3ks + 1k 🏃🏼‍♀️😂 I started off pretty strong but the hills, long (quiet) bridges and humidity got the best of me! I was hoping for 3.42, changed it to 3.48 which I thought I was going to get until I realised I had longer left than my watch was showing me 😂 When you think it’s only 1k left but turns out to be 2k you dig deep and give it everything you’ve got 🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️ Finishing with 3:54 🙏🏼 Despite the challenging conditions the support was incredible and kept me smiling throughout the course 🫶🏼 I cried twice thinking of Layla’s face at the end 🥹 and when she gave me that big smile it was all worth it! 🤍 Thank you so much @jennnmartin @elliewindham & @taylorwalsh406 for looking after my girl 🫶🏼 Looks like she had the best time!
