There’s truly something special about getting to race with your person!! 🤍 Had the absolute pleasure of running mixed doubles in Anaheim this past weekend with @isaacsanderson18 ! After he ran a marathon with me last year, it felt only right to return the favor and step into his area of expertise :) Going into the weekend, I was battling some fatigue and struggling to hit the paces I needed to in training. something we later discovered (thanks to bloodwork a few days before the race) was due to a vitamin D deficiency. Even so, I couldn’t be happier that we crushed our goal and went sub 60! Getting to race alongside our other favorite Canadian/American duo was another plus (thanks for letting us chase you around @krisrugloski and @austinazar ) A weekend spent with friends, doing hard things, is always a win!! And the unexpected cherry on top was finding out that we get to race together again at worlds in Sweden next summer! So grateful for everyone who supported and cheered us on, and for all the new friendships made along the way. Cheers to wrapping up a great year of racing and excited to kick off the next one soon! 🥂✨
