This Clevedon Pier print is available for one week only as part of the Magnum 6x6" Square Print Sale.
The photograph is taken from my project Pierdom (2011-2013) a three-year journey traveling the coastline of Britain, where I created a comprehensive photographic record of the country’s remaining pleasure piers, in homage to these monuments of Victorian engineering and eccentricity. Opened in 1869, Clevedon Pier was once described by the English poet Sir John Betjeman as “delicate as a Japanese print in the mist, and like an insect in the sunlight.”
More than 120 signed or estate-stamped, museum-quality 6x6” prints by Magnum photographers and The Photographers’ Gallery for £100/€120/ $100+tax.
An exhibition of the full collection is showing at The Photographers’ Gallery in London, UK, from Friday, October 14 — providing visitors with an exclusive look at the prints on sale — until the sale closes on October 23.
All print sales purchased via the link in my bio will directly support The Photographers’ Gallery’s learning programme and community work.
