I walked up to 7615 W Beverly Blvd 27 years ago. I had to convince the Greensteins to give me, the young excitable, confident beyond any other skill or awareness of what the future held, a commercial lease. I closed the deal in 5 minutes called it BOXER back in ‘95. Received so many accolades from seasoned food critics. This was way before influencers, bloggers, and Yelp. Those were the days. Yet no more than these are the days. Last night held so much beautiful energy it’s hard to express in a post that has limited characters.
