tl;dw: spend time doing things that ground you in the present. [longer caption/video subtitles]: I’ve found that in periods of uncertainty, revisiting my “anchors” is a way to remain grounded. I think of “anchors” as items or activities that help get me through any tough patches. Since I’ve been home these past few weeks, soccer has been this for me. It has been my anchor. Regardless of who I’m playing with or how I play, I always leave feeling a bit more grateful and appreciative than before I got to the field that day. And more often than not, I get a beautiful view like this to cap it off.
