Congrats Bobby! #Repost @bob_fromme ・・・ The shot was lethal, the revved up bull made it about a 150 yards with my Vap 300 tipped with a Grim Reaper Hades Pro 3 blade fixed head that angled between his shoulders and poked out through some ribs on the off side. Had a really action packed hunt with lots of ups and downs, but stayed positive that a good one would give us an opportunity if we kept doing the right thing. Checked all of the boxes of a great hunt for me. Super cool terrain, well balanced herd with a high bull to cow ratio, great people and the experience of watching elk do elk things at the most magical time of the year.
