Tresanton is a cluster of houses on the edge of St Mawes, one of the prettiest fishing villages in Cornwall. There is no muzak whatsoever at Tresanton, only the sound of the waves and the occasional Sea Shanty. There are two spaces to enjoy the food and drinks from a whimsical yet coastal-style restaurant connecting to a sea view terrace where you can have a glass of bubbly or two. The restaurant has a mosaic floor and a Pelargonium-filled terrace. South facing, your eyes are constantly drawn to the sea. On a sunny day, Tresanton’s dining room is one of the loveliest places to eat in England. All rooms have sea views and have been individually designed with antiques and Cornish art by Olga Polizzi @olgapolizzi. Dogs can stay in one of their four dog-friendly rooms.
