Field update from Chile! ​ ​While we remain focused on Hurricane Agatha Relief in Oaxaca, Mexico, our Founder, @jon_rose, is in Chile conducting a needs assessment for an upcoming program we are doing there. It’s a very complex situation made up of two major issues: mining waste and water scarcity. Basically, there’s a limited amount of water due to drought and privatization—leaving a small amount for the community, which is (in some cases) compromised by mine tailings (waste from the mines). #wavesforwater #w4wchile #dirtywater #water ​
