I literally could cry!! They are good tears, (old man tears). I frekin LOVE this kid so much. If I just think about the level of love I have for him, my throat lumps up, and my eyes water. I tell him he is the best thing to ever happen to me. (His Mom is the best decision I’ve ever made). The other part of the tears are for how he is not a kid anymore. It’s like he went into a cocoon & came out a new creature. A glimpse of the baby & kid are in there, but 13,14,15 years old, a man emerged. Making a new relationship with the Man isn’t first nature to me, relating to men has always been a challenge because in my past men were dangerous. But this guy here is becoming a man I’m soooo hella proud of!! I’m not posting this for him, but for me. He doesn’t like a lot of attention, but since it’s Father’s Day, I’m going to execute a Father’s privilege to Love on his boy (man)! More than any MTV Award, DJ Accolade, or prominent platform, is the honor of getting to be his Dad! ...that is all. 👊🏽💛
