Lesson One Six years ago I came to @hfbkhamburg to teach you. We argued a lot about the ways that images circulate in the world, in many unpredictable ways–on the pages of books and newspapers, on smart phones and tablets, across the backs of our eyes. Yet they are never just images! 🙅On social media they become units of interaction and exchange. In the news they have currency and value. Human experience is traded, censored and exploited in ways that are difficult to grasp. They inform the way we experience our bodies, select who we will love and even who we shall hate. Over the past three months we have been working on a user manual together.
