TODAY LOVE WINS! DEMOCRACY PREVAILS! What an incredible day. The Respect for Marriage Act becomes law. This law is arguably over 50 years in the making. It took icons like David Mixner & Edie Windsor to fight for our existence. State by state we chipped away thanks to advocates like Otho Kerr, Rod Grozier and Rob Goldrich. It took vision and strategy to bring in both parties, thanks to Senator Baldwin and Ken Mehlman. Thank you to the heroes I mentioned and to those countless others whose conviction and vision prevailed.
