I’m so grateful that I got to participate in a Multi- Disciplinary artist residency program at Doutta Seck in Dakar Senegal in partnership with @blackrocksenegal and the @usembassydakar We were asked to respond to the questions: What binds us to our environment? What releases us? I ended up creating a 7 min experimental video installation focused on climate change in the face of industrialization in Dakar. This outdoor public installation was mapped on a building in Dakar and featured an interpretive dance performance by the dance collective @asso.maggando whose movements were in conversation with the visuals.
