3X Marathoner As I approached the Brandenburg gate making my way to the finish-line,I turned off my headphones to take in all the noise. I was overwhelmed with emotions as I heard the cheering, yelling, screaming and clapping from both sides. But once I crossed the Finish-line I couldn’t help but cry. I was happy to see @ted_deluxe who encouraged me to soak in the moment, so I did. My tears flowed like a waterfall but these were tears of joy. I kept thinking to myself “damn Hector, you just crossed your third MARATHON finish-line, shirtless, with purple fucking hair while galavanting(lol) in Europe”. If 9 years ago you would’ve told me I’d be in Berlin running a marathon I would have laughed at you. But here we are NO longer confined to my zip code (10032), no longer giving a fuck how my looks make anyone feel, and most importantly a 3 time fucking marathoner. We GLOBAL, NOT LOCAL BABY.
