This was truly beautiful! From being condescendingly smiled at by some when I started snowboarding over 20 years ago, women Slopestyle grew to be one of the most progressive and thrilling aspects of snowboarding. Amongst many others @zoisynnott @annagassersnow really stand for this progression. Four years ago though, they got absolutely robbed, having to take their final Olympics runs in a crazy wind storm. Apart from the sheer danger, it was unjust and disrespectful to the competing women. With this in mind, I was especially happy and moved now to see them ride to their full potential with @zoisynnott to crown it all. The best part wasn’t her incredible riding though.. but the reaction of the other competitors. It looked like a genuine and honest celebration of something great they’ve all accomplished together. Respect to their empowerment and their togetherness over rivalries and nations!
