the last few months I’ve been able to travel and tour the world with a man I’ve looked up to since I was 13 years old. If you know anything about New Orleans culture you know of his importance on and off the bandstand. Over the last 30 years he’s mentored hundreds of musicians we’ve both seen groomed as the stars of today and others who are working musicians that have been given the tools to be able to provide for themselves and their families playing music. He’s nurtured us all where we were but also corrected us in love. He’s the true meaning of a Big Chief and I truly appreciate him. This week we head to Brazil to tour for a few days 🇧🇷.
