Grandma, it’s been a year.... A year of no weekly phones from you. A year of no birthday song voicemails. A year of no advice when I was feeling low. A year of no late night prayer sessions. A year of no “hey man, you done ate yet”. A year of no visits to the mall then the foodcourt. A year of no helping you figure out Facebook, or a year of no big warm hugs from you. This year did however, bring me tons of incredible memories with you. Confidence that I can do anything because of your prayers. And most importantly, this year without you has shown me that your love is very much alive and with me EVERYDAY. Thank you for everything, I am honored to have been your first born grandson.
